MISSION STATEMENT:
STRIVING FOR JUSTICE MINISTRIES, INC. is a faith-based, tax exempt (501c3) not for profit, community-based agency serving youth seniors, and families, primarily in the inner-city Chicago communities, and other underprivileged communities. Striving For Justice Ministries provides family centered, consumer driven services designed to encourage people to value individual dignity and self worth in order to empower themselves to a greater level of self sufficiency, taking into account all areas of individual and family dynamics. These include educational, employment, spiritual, economic, emotional, mental and physical prosperity. Our programs include a youth program, prisoner reentry program, senior citizen services, and an actual innocence and wrongfully convicted project.
What we are ultimately trying to do is help the people of under-privileged communities to improve their lifestyles, by providing them with unlimited opportunities to move up to the next level of overall prosperity, so that the negative effects of society won't cause our communities to continuously dwell in impoverished conditions.
